Help with 80's hair styles!?

Hi, I've got an 80's day coming up tomorrow, and need some ideas for 80's hair styles. I understand that bigger is better, but my hair is naturally stick straight and won't stay curly for more than a second. It has the volume of a piece of paper, I swear. If you know of anything that I can do with it, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks.

Are you a guy or a girl? How long is your hair? For a guy, I would suggest super strong gel - spike it straight up all over or just in the front/bangs. For a girl, same thing. For longer hair, try using a brush to make wings. Hold the bristles against your hairline between the eye and ear. Brush backwards enough to be able to twist the brush - the bristles should now be facing the mirror and the hair is over it. Spray it and let it dry. Spray it again and let it dry - a blow dryer helps. Remove the brush and you'll have a fantastic wing. Repeat on the other side. Have fun!

Oh, also, I think it's Connelle that sells the little $20 hair dye striping machine that won't damage your hair or make the color permanent. It carries some cool colors like blue and hot pink.

Well big hair would be best - think perms/mullets etc. but also had terrible big bows in our hair in the 80's too. for people like yourself that just didnt have big hair, even in the 80's.... just put a scarf under hair and tie big bow on top then pull back and the hair at front (wether its a fringe or not) sort of puff up and hairspray. then use lots of hairspray on the rest of it - remember hair gel was invented in the 80's that's why we had such crap hair...

It will look terrible....but that's what the 80's was all about...

Okay, you need to get a pic and tease it, especially the bangs with the 80s styles. Hot roll it and spray hairspray on your hair while it's in the rollers. You may want to try some gel before you roll it.

Or you could get some sponge rollers and sleep in them. You will definitely be curly/wavy even if you do have poker straight hair.

A mullet hair is just right for the 80s and ugly. Have fun!
