Quick way to style frizzy hair?

I have really frizzy hair that's neither curly nor wavy... It's a strange combination of "straight-ish" and kinda wavy hair. But in some spots it makes big curls... Let's just say it's plain weird. Plus it's really dry.

I normally straight it but there are times I simply don't have the time to do that... And if I let it be/blow dry it, it will look like I was hit by a typhoon.

Here's an example:

(now imagine it but with much more hair)

Is there a way to style it quickly but still look presentable? Without tying it up in a ponytail please.

I have the same problem lately I have been washing my hair in cold water and it seems to work. My hair is less frizzy...it could be just me.

What I would suggest is getting it cut into long layers.

It'll take a lot of the bulk out, and make your hair much more manageable.

Also, you should be putting a anti-frizz serum in your hair after you hair has air-dried for a bit.

I use Pantene Always Smooth, and it works pretty well.

I have naturally curly hair, so I usually just use a diffuser (the big thing that you put onto your blow-dryer with lots of grooves and hole in it) and just kind of place my hair untop of it while the dryer's on high heat.

It brings out the curls (the smooth, pretty kind) and dries it quickly.

Then, I just run some Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon finishing creme through it.

It always comes out very nice.

Try it!

No-no, don't thin it out ever again! If your hair is like the pic, then that means that each individual hair is very fine even if you have a lot of it. You should get long layers. A way to help frizz is to use lots of leave-in conditioner, and a shampoo %26amp; conditioner for dry/damaged hair is good. Try not to straighten it as much, because it is making it much more damaged and frizzier when it's not straightened, instead leave it natural but if you are worried about the frizz then a good tip is to use a little bit of curling gel in your hair when it's damp, plat your hair in two plats (one on each side) then leave it like that till it's dry. When you take it out you should see less frizz and big waves. But if you still have many fly-away hairs at the top, a nice hairstyle is to clip or tie the top half of your hair back, this style is still feminine but tames that crazy hair. Good luck!
