Thinking of dying my hair, need help please!?

Basicly i want to dye my hair but i have many dilemmas.

ages ago my sister did a few blonde highlights in my hair it does blend in with my hair because it is a mix of colours:

some people would say its blonde but some would say brown, its kind of golden like maple surup lol.

i was thinking of using a semi-permant dye (blonde dye) on my hair but a freind said it wont really change the colour of my hair because i have never dyed it all over before and that it would only make the blonde highlights really blonde.

but i also was thinking of dying it a semi-permant brown, someone said that blonde brings out your hair but brown brings out your face. i do have quite a big nose so would it make it look even bigger?

and also i am trying to grow my hair so would using strong chemicals on my hair be bad for my hair and may stop it from growing as quickly? i was thinking of using a natural dye but i saw a tv programme and the results of natural dyes werent very effective. many thanks =] x

okay ive dyed my hair alot of times already so i know what im talkin bout...first of all ur friend is wrong...blone is going to dye ur hair al over not just make ur highlight brighter it is gonna dye all ur hair.it only matters on the shape of u face..and that is only with hair styles not hair colors.hair colors make ur skin color look darker or paler. if u r a dark white dark brown will make u look paler but not to much.blond will make u look alot paler but u would look good.(i think u should go with the brown)auburn works good to or burgandy..no it will not make ur nose look longer..IF U DYE UR HAIR MORE THAN 3 TIMES U WILL SLOW DOWN THE GROWTH OF YOUR HAIR (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE HIGHLIGHTS) much luck...............: %26gt;)

no, i don't think that brown brings out your face. but to avoid damaging your hair, you should consider dying it wih henna hair color. it can't make your hair blonde, but it will make it a pretty brown with no damage!

Why don't you use one of those coloring shampoos? It's easier, cheaper and after 24 washes, you need to do it again.

The color, you get to pick. If after all you're not happy with your hair color, dye it in a salon then.
