If i take a shower at night then a few hours later it is really frizzy so i straighten it and then in the morning it is still frizzy so i straighten it for about 5 min and it looks fine but then at skool it goes POOF! And when i take a shower in the morning i dont have time to blow dry my hair AND straighten it so i put it in a pony tail... but if i just leave it alone without puting it in a pony tail then it get all frizzy later on in the day! So i can only do 2 hair styles and everthing else makes my hair frizzy! I kno this doesnt seem big but it is to me! And im only 12 so idk much about my hair and what can damage it or not! So just plz tell what i should do to my poofy hair???
Hi, hair problem?
I have the same problem! honestly, the best way to figure out what will work best for YOUR hair would be to find a stylist that can do something for it. S/he will be able to see what hair type you have and suggest some products that will be good for your hair. I know that going to a stylist can get expensive, so you could even go somewhere like Regis Hairstylists, or the JC Penney styling salon. They will probably try to sell you what products they have in the store, but you can always tell them that you're 12 and don't have a lot of money to spend on products --they should recommend some products you can get at Wal-Mart or Target. Also, if you dont' want to go through all of the trouble of finding a stylist to help, you can try to use a product you put in your hair while it's still wet. Try a mousse or anti-frizz product. Frizz-Ease is a great product that I used to use, and it's fairly inexpensive compared to what I buy now. They make a mousse, and a great anti-frizz serum that you put in your hair when it's still wet, and you blow dry it straight. i wouldn't use the serum unless you're going to blow-dry your hair- this is where the mousse can help. Also, try lightly spraying some hairspray on it when you're done styling. I think that by putting in a product when it's wet and blow-drying it, you'll see a HUGE improvement in the frizz that it has. Good luck, and I hope it helps!!!
Hi, hair problem?
hmmmm..this is a hard one, um i would suggest getting a relaxer if it really bothers you alot, or maybe a hair cut with layers. Sometimes that can change the effect of the puffyness. Um but i woudl really try finding a gell (styling) it will help with the puffyness and it will also help you with styles other than the 2 that you already have.
hope things work out.
Hi, hair problem?
Maybe conditioning more often and getting your hair soaked in the shower less often may help.
Check out the videos on hair care at

they're not just for use with her products but are generally applicable.
See also Massey's book "Curly Girl". It's been out long enough that many public libraries have copies available.
Hi, hair problem?
Well maybe you should go to the salon and get a very mild relaxer(strightner) And at night wrap your hair put a silk scarf on your head befroe you go to sleep...Also try to wash it like once a week...Hopefully that helps

Try:

You can get a lot of different answers if you Google Frizzy hair home remedies.
You can also go into your local salon and ask tons of questions.
Good luck
Hi, hair problem?
try using gel or sprunching spray when you get out of the shower and sprunch it...in case you dont know, sprunch is just taking sections and scrunching it so it'll be curly, but since yours is already curly, the gel and spray will help the frizz. good luck!
Hi, hair problem?
honey, you should'nt care about looks at your age!!
but even if you do, big hair is beautiful!! i love big hair! don't straighten or anything, you'll just be sorry when your older, keep it that way, its uniuqe and pretty!
Hi, hair problem?
When you don't have time to blow dry to keep hair from frizzing use some mousse and spray hair gel and scrunch your hair to give it some wave and volume and leave your hair down and go with it as for straightening its all about the product you use, the best I have found is Chi which is only sold in salons or salon stores such as Trade Secret, it works great especially if you are straightening with a flat iron after you blow dry and it also works as a heat protector to keep hair safe from damage. You can also opt for a leave in conditioner such as Infusium 23 to help with the frizz as well, another great product is Silk by Paul Mitchell. All of these have tamed my hair beyond belief, I have naturally curly hair which is very prone to frizzing and these have helped me tremendously. I hope this helps you out. And another tip, always blow dry your hair in small sections using a round brush to get it really straight and to cut down on frizz too.
