It could pull it out more in that one area, if you always part it in exactly the same spot, so move where you part it around some. You said you have a high forehead, so bangs or even side bangs would be nice and you could put the part in the middle too. I have bangs and I part my hair both in the middle and on the side. You could try some cute clips or other accessories to change it. Have some fun trying out new styles.
