Facial hair growth?

I've been growing more hair on my jawline, around my chin, recently, but usually it starts off as a small little whitehead.

My theory is that the glands are producing more something to make the hair thicker, or that when the hair tries to push out, the pore isn't big enough.

Is this what is happening? If not, what is causing it?

Also, is there any way I can reduce the pimples? I have been washing my face more often.

its probably ingrown hairs. but thats odd that it would be on your facial hair. never heard of that. or it could just be acne. try taking a tweezer and plucking at the white head, a hair might come out and the white head would go away in that case. women get this all the time.

you might also want to watch what your washing your face with. if you have dry skin, the dry skin could be what is covering your pores, so try a scrub and then a cleanser and then a moisturizer. always use hot water to open the pores

Facial hair growth?

Great question and I think you almost have the answer. The stratum corneum ("horny layer") is the outermost layer of the epidermis is what your hair is trying to grow through. As you age, you will continue to grow hair in new locations throughout your life. The whitehead that you see is really the stratum corneum and you just need to push that aside or pluck it off with tweezers and you will be fine. I am assuming that you do not have ingrown hair otherwise you would have this problem all over you face and some times all over you body.

Depending upon your age pimples can be caused by many different factors. I am assuming that you are close to 20 so you pimples are not do to the hormonal changes of your teenage years. Many men have pimples into there late 20s and even early 30s. They are caused by a lot of factors. One of them may just be too much oil in the skin or an infection that keeps spreading. I need more information to give you a better answer.

Good question though

Facial hair growth?

i do have lots facial hair ,too but donot try to shave them off cuz ya pore will be bigger , that also can cause pimples. if hair is too thick n uncomfortable , shave 'em and put on after shave or toner , which could close ya pore.

Washing face toooo much absolutely can cause pimples cuz the natural oil on ya face is removed so strongly , like an automatic reaction of the body , grease will break out much more ...n pimples !

This 's from my real experience , cuz now my pimples are much better
