I want my hair longer and softer. Right now it is hard just rough and hard not smoothe and soft like most girls I know. I am a latina if that helps but I have a little bit kinky shoulderlenght hair. It has sunburt color in some areas especially the top and front of it and it is darker brown on the healthier inside. Like I said it is just hard like when you got it really dusty and it is hard and ugly. Can't fix it nice , I would love to wear it loose to work (in and ac office) but it is also a little bit puffy. Please help me to get softer hair without spending big cash and honestly where i live infront of the sea the hair has the tendency to be like mine but still some women carry it loose and soft. Some have straight some have waves and some are curly.

well you should get little trims periodically and wear it down alot to make it grow faster, and then when you wash your hair wash it everyother day and do your whole head iwth shampoo and rinse and then only do the ends with conditioner and leave it in for like a minute and rinse. that should help. it helped me :]]

get a perm on it,, a straight perm but don't leave it on too long,,just long enough to loosen the curl, use a kiddy perm for black hair like, 'just for me" then use a conditioner on it to make sure it doesn't' dry out.

true story: my 7 year old son chased me around the house one day during a birthday party, when i asked him why he was chasing me he simply stated that he wanted to see if my hair would burst his balloon!! That's how kinky and coarse my hair used to be. I am american, but i did not get the american hair.!! I received my first compliment on my hair and my first whistle when i was 33 years old, and i cried!! I started using a very inexpensive shampoo made by panteene but it is the one in the brown bottle that says, "for the woman of color" I started to see results after one week, people started asking me what conditioner i was using, i use the conditionor too. I also am able to use the flat iron on my hair now, my high school friends almost died when i walked into our class reunion wiht silky flowing hair. said i should be on a before and after commercial. No im not a gorgous babe with beautiful hair, I am just so proud to feel like i am human and not like a horse with a mane
