Does anyone know of a good hair conditioner that:
Will be under $5 for a big bottle?
Will wash out easily and not leave a residue?
Will make my hair not so knotted and frizzy?
I've used Suave conditioners before, and they always seem to stay in my hair and make it feel dry and dirty, even after I spend so long in the shower making sure it's out of my hair.
People have begun to notice this with my hair...how it's dry, bristley, and lacks shine. It upsets me because I've always prided myself on how my dark, virgin hair looks.
I live on a very low income. I want something that really works, that's affordable, that I could find at Wal-Mart. I don't want some $13 Paul Mitchell 4 oz tube of conditioner. I need quality and quantity for a reasonable price.
Please help.

I never recommend any hair products you can buy at Wal Mart....but Infusium is great. =)
If you wanna spend a few more bucks, give the Redken All Soft or Smooth Down shampoo or condition a try.
Also, look on ebay...I buy everything on there and it's saved me some $$$$$!

Homemade Hair Conditioners
Many of us spend lots of time looking for the right hair conditioner. We want a hair conditioner that will make our hair healthier, shinier, thicker, and more manageable.
While you can find plenty of good hair conditioners at a store or salon, you can also make an effective, and more affordable, hair condoner right at home.
Some home made hair conditioner treatments seem to contain dozens of ingredients, and take the skills of a trained chemist to prepare. And, while some of them are excellent, the following homemade hair conditioners only have one or two ingredients, and take little to no time to prepare.
Mayonnaise and Avocado Hair Conditioner
This homemade hair conditioner will deep condition your hair.
Put a small jar of real mayonnaise and half of an avocado in a bowl. Use a fork or spoon to smash and mix the mayonnaise and avocado together until they are smooth. Apply the creamy mixture to your unwashed hair, from the roots to the ends. Then place a plastic shower cap on your head. Leave the mixture on your hair for twenty minutes. While you閳ユ獧e waiting, do something relaxing, like read a book or listen to music. After twenty minutes have passed, shampoo, making sure to wash out all of the mixture.
Quick Mayonnaise Hair Conditioner
Here閳ユ獨 a simpler hair conditioner using mayonnaise. Dampen your hair. Apply a thick layer of real mayonnaise to your hair, from roots to ends. Then, comb the mayonnaise through your hair with a wide-toothed comb. Leave the mayonnaise on your hair for twenty minutes, then shampoo.
Beer Rinse Hair Conditioner
If you want hair that is more manageable, as well as having more body, try this hair conditioner. After your shampoo, rinse your hair in a bottle of flat, warm beer. Rinse thoroughly, making sure you get rid of all of the beer smell.
Watercress Hair Conditioner
This hair conditioner could help to control your oily hair.
In a blender or food processor, combine half a cup of watercress and one cup of water. Blend until the mixture is smooth. Pour the mixture into a pot, and boil for ten minutes. Use a strainer to strain out the watercress, then let the watercress-infused liquid completely cool.
After washing your hair, apply the watercress liquid to your hair. You can use your hands, or lean over the sink or tub and pour the liquid directly over your head. Leave the conditioner in your hair for twenty minutes. (You might want to drape a towel over your shoulders to catch excess drips.) After twenty minutes, rinse thoroughly.
You can spend lots of money buying a hair conditioner from a department store or salon. But you could actually go into your kitchen right now and find a hair conditioner that will work wonders for your hair.
So you can make your own!!!!!
I hope you have nice soft hair!
