Question about hair extensions?

k, so my hair is naturally straight, and its pretty long (like 19") and it's not too thick or thin. I've always wanted curly hair EXACTLY like Jessica Simpson's:

I was thinking of getting those extensions but:

-if i clip those extensions to my hair i'll have to curl my real hair to match it... would it make my hair look 'overly volumized" or too big/poofy?

I can't make my real hair look curly like the one in the picture because my i have a lot of short layers.

But honestly hair extensions are WAY overrated.

YES it will make your hair look overvolumized, trust me I use to have extensions and it looks fake right off the bat.

Just play around with a curling iron I'm sure you can eventually get curls like hers try to curl two pieces at once making them together.

Otherwise just wait til your hair grows out a little more---

AND I know those extensions are like over $100 it is definitely NOT worth it.
